I cannot say enough amazing things about Advanced Air Ambulance. After my partner suffered a femur break in Cancun that required immediate surgery, I needed urgent medical transportation back to the United States and had no idea where to even begin.

From the very first call, AL was absolutely incredible. He was always available, any hour, by phone or email throughout the entire three days we were coordinating everything. Honestly, it felt like he worked 24/7. He truly became my lifeline during a very stressful and frightening time when I didn’t know how I was going to get to a hospital in the U.S.

The flight crew—the pilot, doctor, and nurse—were equally outstanding. From the moment we arrived at the airport by ground ambulance, they made not only the patient, but me feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Their professionalism and compassion meant everything to me.

Recently, my wife and I received the kind of phone call no parent wants to hear: our 19 year-old son was in a serious accident while traveling in Mexico, and he required immediate surgery and specialized care. And while we were lucky he was attended to by an excellent doctor in Mexico, we were advised he needed to be transported to Los Angeles immediately for more specialized surgery.

We needed to secure an air ambulance, staffed with both expert pilots, as well as medical staff, to pick up my son in Mexico, and fly him internationally to Los Angeles, while also dealing with all the logistics and paperwork that accompany this kind of discharge. And this needed to happen in the next 24 hours. After multiple attempts, with flaky services and non-responsive companies, we connected with Richard Abbara at Advanced Air Ambulance. He was used to dealing with people at their most stressed, with real life stakes where time was of the essence. He assured us he would get our son to Los Angeles by the next day. Plans were made, paperwork managed (visas, passports, discharge instructions), and a plane with a fantastic crew showed up in Puerto Vallarta as scheduled. And a few hours later, my son was in Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles getting the care he urgently needed. We are incredibly grateful to Richard and his team at Air Ambulance, and their service is extraordinary during the most stressful moments a family can endure.

From the first phone call, to all my calls between the staff were polite, helpful and understanding. The plane, pilots and on board nurses were outstanding!! The whole experience was amazing ! Our goal of bringing our mom back to US safely was met . Richard was giving us updates all the way from when we started coordinating my Mom's travel to when she arrived to the San Antonio hospital . The medical staff who accompanied my mom in the commercial flight from Manila to Houston were amazing and were very professional and competent . Our whole family is very appreciative of this service !!!

AAA exceeded any reasonable expectations in what was a difficult situation. My friend was on vacation in Hawaii, had a medical emergency, and needed to be in Seattle with his doctors and family.

I called AAA on a Sunday morning. Al Meyreles answered the phone and was dedicated and skilled at sizing up a complicated situation and springing into action.

By Monday night AAA had a jet positioned in Hawaii. By Tuesday evening they had my medically compromised friend returned to Seattle. The flight and care of my friend was top notch.

Advanced Air Ambulance is excellent in every respect. Advanced Air Ambulances provides excellent service, great care for their patience and great value. We were in Italy traveling and my wife fell and broke her pelvis and had additional complications. I contacted air ambulance companies but Advanced Air Ambulance was the most responsive. Richard is awesome and kept in contact with us and informed. On the day that my wife got out of the hospital, I contacted him and within a day he had arrangements made for my wife to return to the US by air ambulance. Richard also arranged for ground ambulance transportation in Rome, Istanbul and Los Angeles. Two flight nurses who were ICU trained took great care of my wife on the two flights home by providing life support and medications and were excellent, professional and caring. The nurses also helped us at the airports in Rome and Istanbul with boarding and customs. When we arrived in Los Angeles, the two nurses followed us home to check on my wife and to make sure she was well. This is rare nowadays. There was not a single glitch or problem from leaving the hotel in Rome, on the flights to Los Angeles and arriving at our home in Los Angeles. We are blessed, thankful and grateful to Advanced Air Ambulance, especially Richard. I highly recommend Advanced Air Ambulance as they are the best. They deserve more than FIVE STARS for their great service, compassionate care, responsiveness and assistance.

My husband was suddenly hospitalized while in France and we needed help safely getting home to San Francisco. Advanced Air Ambulance is a very efficient emergency air ambulance company. The staff is very professional and the air ambulance crew highly experienced. Lear jet is fully equipped with state of the art medical equipment making for the perfect in air ICU!. Richard A. is so helpful and easy to communicate with. Everything was beyond perfect with this service from call center, to patient bedside in Aruba to patient bedside at receiving hospital in the United States. Due to medical reasons elderly family members needed to move from Largo, Fl to Colchester Ct. Advanced Air Ambulance was chosen to coordinate this move. Richard kept us informed every step of the way. Due to his experience this ground transport and flight was accomplished without any issues and on schedule.

Our family urgently needed to have an out-of-state relative, who was hospitalized with serious medical conditions, transferred from a Houston Hospital to the State of Florida so that family could help with his care. After contacting Advanced Air Ambulance, they provided the information needed by hospital professionals to make the transfer happen by Air Ambulance. There were a couple of forms to be filled out, and they did the rest. From start to finish, Richard (with Air Ambulance) was there to provide support and get the job done. He gave us a timeline and worked with the necessary people in Houston to have the patient safely moved from Houston to Florida We were not aware this service existed until it became necessary to use it. They are an incredible team with the knowledge and skills to help families who need to have a loved one moved safely to another location by air ambulance. We are highly satisfied customers who give a 5 Star recommendation to Advanced Air Ambulance.

Wow. I hoped I would never have to use a service like this. However, when we needed to transport my mother from North Carolina to Florida, the team at Advanced Air Ambulance was nothing short of spectacular. I knew as soon as I gave Richard all the pertinent information, he had control of all the logistics. they were extremely punctual and delivered on their promise of timeliness, safety, and care. I hope we never have to use a service like this again but, if we do, there is no doubt who our choice will be.
