Road safety in Namibia's Erongo Region, the nation’s premier uranium mining province, was high on the agenda at the Safety Conference during the Chamber of Mines Namibia Mining Expo 2026, with leading mining companies and the Namibian Roads Authority signing a voluntary safety collaboration action plan for the major national C28 road. On behalf of Langer Heinrich Mine, Executive Director Johan Roux signed a shared commitment to the C28 initiative, joining other leading companies, including our uranium colleagues - Deep Yellow and Bannerman. The initiative involves current and future producers, contractors and suppliers operating in Erongo and recognises the increasing volume of traffic generated by the growing mining sector. It is focused on the need to work together to ensure long-term safety of all users on this critical national road, which links tourist destinations throughout the national parks and is a well-used public route from Swakopmund to the capital Windhoek. The establishment of the C28 Safety Committee by industry and the Namibian Roads Authority is being seen as a model for shared responsibility and collaboration in the country's mining sector. It recognises that the steadily increasing traffic on C28 now includes employee buses, bulk haul vehicles or similar freight hauling transporters working for the mining sector. All participants have committed to a shared safety approach in areas such as speed and fatigue management, defensive driving, real time hazard information (including wildlife).

We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the President of Namibia, Her Excellency Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah to our stand at the 2026 Chamber of Mines Namibia Mining Expo, for a long conversation with Langer Heinrich’s Managing Director Armandt Visagie about our mining operations and commitment to the local community. The President was accompanied by the Minister of Industries, Mines and Energy Hon. Modestus Amutse and the Governor of Erongo Region Hon. Dr. Natalia /Goagoses. The President was keenly interested in the successful ramp-up of Langer Heinrich Mine to full production and our wide range of community commitments in education, skills and youth development, investment in health care, agriculture and national infrastructure. We received her encouragement to keep working closely with local communities for the benefit of Namibia and to ensure a lasting and sustainable legacy from our mining operations. Earlier, the President told several hundred delegates, government and diplomatic representatives at the Expo that she viewed a growing mining sector as a key economic enabler for Namibia's future, and her government was committed to creating a conducive environment for mining investment. She encouraged all companies in the mining sector to make headway on continuing to provide employment for Namibians and to focus on the health, safety and wellbeing of employees. With Namibia's strong global position in the uranium sector as a major producer, the President reaffirmed her view that uranium is a strategic national asset. She outlined her view that Namibia needs to participate further in the nuclear value chain and establish clean, stable, low emissions nuclear power within the country as energy is the key to ongoing industrialisation and growth.

It's Expo time again in Namibia, with the nation's premier mining event getting underway in Windhoek this week and featuring strong representation from our Langer Heinrich team. The Chamber of Mines Namibia Mining Expo 2026 is bigger than ever, setting new records for the number of exhibitors and visitors, and demonstrating the strength of the Namibian mining sector in key commodities like uranium, gold and copper. Located in the Makalani Hall, our exhibition stand is attracting a steady stream of visitors keen to learn more about our activities in Namibia, from mining operations to community initiatives. The team has been busy engaging with people on topics ranging from Langer Heinrich's operational restart and ramp-up to career opportunities in mining, with students seeking advice on how to enter a sector that continues to play an important role in Namibia's economy. If you're in Windhoek today, come down for a visit!

Langer Heinrich recently donated more than 3,400 mathematics, physical science and chemistry textbooks to schools across Swakopmund and Walvis Bay, helping Grade 10–12 learners access essential resources for their studies. By increasing access to these resources, the donation will help support teaching, strengthen educational outcomes and create opportunities for students to succeed in key STEM subjects. Speaking at the event, Langer Heinrich’s Managing Director Armandt Visagie highlighted the important role education plays in shaping Namibia's future. “May these resources support teaching, improve learning outcomes and inspire learners to pursue excellence in these critical subjects."

Today we released our June 2026 Quarterly Report. Our Langer Heinrich Mine successfully completed the ramp-up in line with our commitment to deliver this goal by the end of FY2026, and at the Patterson Lake South Project, we received formal acknowledgement from the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission of the achievement of sufficiency status. During the quarter, we also announced a new high-grade uranium discovery at Atlas. Hear our MD and CEO Paul Hemburrow talk through the quarter’s highlights in the video below. Last week members of the Paladin Canada team were in Île-à-la-Crosse for the Indigenous Business Showcase, connecting with community members, local businesses and organisations as part of the community's 250th anniversary celebrations. The showcase, hosted by Sakitawak Development, brought together organisations from across the region to exchange ideas, build connections and explore opportunities for collaboration. Our team enjoyed meeting residents, community leaders and business owners, and talking about the Patterson Lake South Project, answering any questions people had. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to say hello.
