I had very poor mobile data at home in Bristol and in West Wales. Totally unreliable. Checked coverage map carefully unfortunately there are odd patches of poor reception in south Bristol and the Pembrokeshire coast for EE. I went back to Vodafone and that fixed it instantly. So it didn't work for me unfortunately. ( 3 or Vodafone networks in future. ) :)
Absolutely stellar customer service. Companies like Sky should take notes!
The customer communication here is on another level. This isn't just based on a one-off interaction, either; I've spoken with them multiple times, including over WhatsApp, and every agent has been incredibly fast, knowledgeable, and able to resolve my needs within minutes.
The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the limited service range in my area. I really hope to see a boost in coverage in the near future, but as far as customer support goes, they are brilliant!
Customer First Support - Brilliant
So, my mobile service just disappeared from my phone on Saturday afternoon. No bars, zero… nada.
I took it to my local mobile repair shop. He went through it and no fault seen. It was late and would have to wait until Monday. Take the phone apart and check for a faulty connection.
On Monday no fault was found.
So in the afternoon I contacted customer service at Spusu for what turned out to be over two hours of trying to replace the eSIM. Jess was brilliant, methodical and patient. No stone was unturned in our quest to get back on mobile data. In the end it did come down to backing up the phone, a factory restore and then the new eSIM was accepted within a couple of minutes.
But the Jess’s patience, knowledge, her ability to call in others and the fact that the company actually allow their agents to exclusively see a problem through to the end was exemplary customer service.

Was researching as wanted to swap…
Was researching as wanted to swap providers. Was mostly after great roaming options. That was last year and I've never looked back. I was previously paying tripple with previous provider and roaming in Switzerland was restricted! Thanks Spusu
Signal very poor & Zero customer service
Signal very poor even though coverage checker said “excellent outside”. Contacted 3 times via their complaints page over 2 week period and god no reply or at all. Requested pac code and moved to a better provider

i found this company by sheer accident , well i asked ai to find me a provider that was low cost and monthly contracts , it came up with these guys , forgot to say i needed one using the ee network as well as this works well around here ,as i said these guys came up, never heard of them .
These guys have really nailed it with simple mobile tarrifs , everything is so straight forward, so simple to set up its almost unbelievable, you really cant go wrong , the app is crystal clear as well

I’ve been with Spusu for a few months now, and switching to them was definitely the best decision. I got a better deal, and calls, data, and texts all run smoothly—except for today, but I’m pretty sure that’s weather-related since my main internet is also having issues. Their customer service is excellent—patient and courteous. they also walked me through switching from a physical sim to an e-sim.

This review really falls into two very distinct camps.
1. Customer Service – Outstanding
This is where Spusu truly shines. After only a short wait, you're put through to an actual human being—yes, a real person! Every advisor I've spoken to has been friendly, knowledgeable, patient and genuinely keen to help.
I've had to contact them several times over the years, and every single experience has been excellent. In an age where so many companies hide behind chatbots and endless automated menus, Spusu's customer service is refreshingly old-fashioned in the very best sense of the word.
2. The App – Sadly, the complete opposite
Unfortunately, the app feels like stepping back into the early days of the internet. It's clunky, confusing and completely counterintuitive. It reminds me of websites from the early 1990s—designed by engineers who understood the technology perfectly but forgot that ordinary people had to use it.
Simple tasks are harder than they need to be, and the overall user experience falls well short of what customers now expect.
It's a real shame, because this is an area that could transform the company. If Spusu invested even a fraction of the effort they've clearly put into customer service into creating a modern, intuitive app—something along the lines of Giffgaff's excellent interface—they would have a genuinely class-leading mobile network.
Fantastic people. Excellent service. Now please give them an app that's worthy of the company behind it.
Woeful WiFi calling
Been with them a month. WiFi calling is terrible. Choppy and voice from my end keeps failing. Also had same problem on mobile signal. I'm going back to Lebara who have been fault free over the five years I was with them.
EE’s coverage but so much cheaper
Absolutely Amazing
spusu is absolutely perfect if you want EE’s signal and service, but don’t want to pay the extra cost. I live in Hampshire, and i have had 5G basically everywhere i have been, even in the most rural areas. I haven’t even needed to contact customer service for anything because i have had no problems. Setting up was easy and i have no regrets, will get my family to switch asap.

Very impressed so far with the communication, I was a little nervous setting up so called the help centre, straight through both times to a UK office. Super helpful, easy to switch over sims using QR code.

Going back to previous provider after only a few days, calls on spusu are terrier, always being told by the other person that the sound isn’t clear at all, where ever I’ve been I’ve always had a poor signal, so much for being on the fastest network
Fantastic offer and service
I’ve just switched to Spusu and successfully ported my number across. Everything went smoothly, and I have to say I’m genuinely impressed. The data speeds are incredible—faster than my home broadband and far better than any other mobile network I’ve used.

i have had constant problems receiving…
i have had constant problems receiving phonecalls. intermittently. this is impossible. after problems they suggested changing from esim to physical sim (i didnt wantvto do this but was desperate). still same problems. then went abroad and phone didnt work at all. its true customer service do answer calls but whats the point if the phone doesn’t work.

My wife and I have both been with spusu for a few years. Having needed to contact them on 2 occasions, their service has been second to none, phone answered very quickly and the issue resolved without any problems.

I am only giving this company 2 stars for sending the sim card within 2 days. Three stars have been deducted for NOT responding to e mails and not connecting on the chosen day! Well that was a waste of £4.50!!! Avoid.
Good with fair price.
I just joined about a month ago, and the are awayyyyyyyyy better then Vodafone which I stayed with them for 5 awful years. This company use EE network which I believe they are number one in signal and internet speed.
