Здравствуйте.
Собрал Gentoo с Gnome. Для удобства пользования ноутбуком в
командировках нужно средство для быстрой и легкой настройки сети (WiFi,
проводная, dhcp, статический адрес, 3G модем). Под Убунтой пользовался
NetworkManager.
Под Gentoo установил use флаг networkmanager, пересобрал, NM
установился, но как его настраивать? Почему оно не появляется в панели
гнома? rc-update add NetworkManager default делал ).

If you have Gnome or XFCE running it should work with emerging
nm-applet#emerge -av nm-applet

Networkmanager никогда особо не радовал ... попробуй более лекговесную альтернативу.
Wicd - не будет разводить холивар кто пробовал почти все на нем и остались.

не все.
NM включает ethernet, wifi, pptp, ppoe, openvpn
Единственное чего не хватает, так это multi-vpn connections
vpn через wicd не подключить.
ЗЫ, а чем NM плох?

А от второй ошибки build.log нужен.

Отдельно собирается но потом при компиляции мира снова пересобирается и
ошибка :-(

Я имел ввиду отдельно собрать ccrtp-1.7.0, поскольку libzrtpcpp с
ccrtp-2 не работает.

Решена - использовать только старую ccrtp. Выясняй кто у тебя требует
новую и решай конфликт
