Stu & Brew is a Belgian based underground techno act, consisting of DJ's and producers Stefan Engelen (Stu) & Bart Sauter (Brew). Stu and Brew grew up together in a small town in Antwerp, and discovered they shared the same passion for underground techno music.
Inspired by artists like The Advent, Claud Young, Thomas Chrome and Space DJz their musical style is best described as underground orientated, deep and pumping techno music with a funky groove. Since the mid-90’s these guys teared up many dancefloors at events like Technomite (Het Debuut Westerlo), Kelderdeuntjes (La Rocca Lier) and Natural Highs Festival (Antwerpen).
Since 2014 they are mainly focussed on producing and remixing tracks. They added some new gear to keep it fresh and explored the more dark and minimal direction within techno. This resulted successfully in several releases and remixes on Naked Lunch Records, Re-load Records, Coincidence Records,...
