AKA MÆNX | Ryan is an ocean activist* and creature of vibration.
He twists the helm to bring dance floors on a voyage through dark vortexes of techno, often visiting the timeless eras of disco, 80's wave, and world music along the way.
Fascinated with ancient wisdom, mysticism, and the medicine in music, Manta mixes a wide range of ingredients to soundtrack gatherings hinged on healing, cleansing, and resetting and harmonizing our relationship with mind, body, soul, our environment and the current moment.
A product of San Francisco nightlife, Ryan has performed many favorite SF-Bay Area haunts (Public Works, Great Northern, Mezzanine, Phonobar, and more), in New York City (Make Believe), and across the world (Wonderfruit Festival '18, Thailand).
*All personal monetary gains from bookings & events are donated to ocean regeneration projects of his choice, such as Manta Trust, Mission Blue, and Coral Reef Alliance.
