Toronto, Canada
Loopity Goofs consists of two members with extremely ecclectic musical backgrounds: Clockwork (Scott Atherton) and Jupiter (Gordon Shields).
The common ground that allows the duo to work so well together is a strong passion for making people move to a groove.
Atherton began spinning house music at house parties over a decade ago, while Shields attended college to study jazz music between ’94-’98. When Shields returned to their hometown of Newmarket (The Dogpatch), Ontario, the two immediately began construction on their own recording studio.
By the fall of 1998, Infinite 420 Studios was created.
Since that time the Loopity Goofs have been spending the majority of their time in the studio and the rest of the time getting people up and dancing in venues across Canada and the US. To this date, the duo has 24 vinyl releases to its credit. Together they have produced a library of over 100 complete tracks that are currently available Online.Keep your ear to the ground,
