The Manchester duo’s Mike Banfield plays “GuiBass”, which in simple terms is a guitar with bass strings at the low end – an idea which has perplexed a few guitar techs before, but which seems to be working out just fine for Kill For Company. Mark O’Donoughue fulfils drum duties with detail. For only a 2 piece there is absolutely nothing lacking in their sound, Mike’s cunning guitar method delivering a consistent assault of melody and rhythm in equal measure, complemented to perfection by Mark’s drum tactics.
