Dubok [LoopJunkies]

Ante Simic works under the name of Dubok, sometimes also referred to as Golem, and is a Dubstep/Techno/Bass musician from Split, residing in Zagreb, Croatia.

Dubok seriously got involved in electronic music when he co-founded LoopJunkies in 2004. He began working as a promoter, moving on to VJ work, as well as graphic and motion design, and went by the name of Xplode.

Soon after, Dubok began working as a DJ and getting into music productions, and moved from smaller gigs to larger ones, enabling to share the stage with such acts as Mickey Pearce, Roska, Seiji, Zed Bias, Herbaliser, A Guy Called Gerald, LTJ Bukem and others. Dubok was also featured at many festivals, including Outlook, Hideout, Seasplash, Voi'Sa, Atlantis and Burning The Beach.

His DJ sets can vary from Post-Dubstep tunes backed by deeply twisted bass-lines, to 4/4 Techo driven bass tunes with a pinch of Acid – whatever you want to call it, it works on the dancefloor!
