Donovan Tjien-Fooh, also known as DJ Don Ivano, is an all-round Afro-Latin DJ. A DJ with Surinam roots but raised and lives in Rotterdam.
He started dancing Salsa in 2005 and that was the start of a new passion. After years of dancing and many parties he was given the opportunity to DJ for the first time at MiSalsa's Party Salsa by the Sea. That was so successful that other organizations invited him to DJ at their parties.
At the same time he became passionate about the Kizomba music and decided to specialize and create his own style.
His sets distinguish themselves not only by perfect mixing but also by his set build up and musicality. Besides Kizomba, Semba, Tarraxinha, UrbanKiz and Afrohouse, he also plays various Latin Music like Salsa, Bachata, Merenque and Ritmo Kombina.
