Tshepo Rakomane: My journey with Medipost Holdings When I began my career with Medipost Holdings, I had the opportunity to start in the Production Department, where I worked in the Special Meds and Oncology section. This role provided me with invaluable firsthand experience in a vital area of our business, laying a solid foundation for my future growth and understanding of the business. After a year, I transitioned to the MediLogistics Doctor Network Department, where my career truly began to expand. This role enriched me with a diverse skill set and experience. I have not only learnt from the incredible internal resources within Medipost, but I also had the privilege of engaging with external clients while fostering strong relationships that deepened my understanding of the broader business landscape.  Recently, I’ve embarked on an exciting new chapter by joining the Business Intelligence (BI) department. This role has allowed me to integrate the knowledge and insights I’ve gathered from various parts of the organisation. Collaborating with stakeholders across multiple departments has given me a holistic view of the business, which now informs my daily work in data and analytics.  My journey at Medipost has been nothing short of fascinating. It has been filled with challenges that have encouraged me to grow, adapt, and thrive. Each step has equipped me with new skills, deeper insights, and a greater appreciation for our collaborative and supportive culture.  Medipost is a place where growth is not just encouraged but actively supported. For Bsc wanting to venture into Pharma in SA🎉 There are a couple of industries we qualify for, we cannot have 1 CV for all, skills needed in lab/quality/sales are different from skills needed in project management/ clinical research When we send in an application we are responding to their need to say I qualify for this, I have the skills you need here is my CV to tell you more. With that said : ensure CV is aligned to that industry, get 3/4 entry posts and compare them to your CV. Add and subtract skills to meet the job call. This can be tiring but can also be the difference between a call for an interview and an “unfortunately” email. Let’s control what we can.
