Our Unitrans Xinavane depot in Mozambique has achieved an exceptional feat by winning the coveted NOSCAR award. This accolade represents the pinnacle of health and safety excellence in our industry and is only awarded to organisations that consistently demonstrate outstanding performance in safety, health, and environmental management. To qualify for the NOSCAR, Xinavane had to maintain a compliance rating of over 95% with the NOSA Integrated Five Star System for three consecutive years, record zero fatal accidents, and maintain a disabling frequency rate of less than 1. This achievement is not a one-time accomplishment but a testament to Xinavane's sustained commitment to safety and continuous improvement.The path to this prestigious award was paved with dedication and hard work from the entire Xinavane team. They implemented a rigorous safety programme that not only met, but exceeded, all NOSA CMB253 standard requirements. The team's unwavering focus on compliance with SHE legal requirements, coupled with regular internal audits and site assessments, played a critical role in maintaining their high safety standards. Management and employees alike were deeply involved in safety initiatives, cultivating a culture of safety throughout the depot.
