Today, I had the privilege of witnessing the true power of brand relationships and trust-building through the Youth Acceleration Program (YAP) by the Insurance Institute of South Africa Institute of South Africa, designed to empower and develop young professionals in the insurance industry. YAP—supported by Absa as main sponsor, GIFS & Generic —demonstrated how strategic collaborations can create meaningful impact among the youth. Seeing industry leaders come together to invest in young professionals was truly inspiring. It reinforced the importance of partnerships in shaping the future—not just through sponsorships or branding, but by fostering growth, creating opportunities, and building lasting connections.
