We are committed to playing a key role in enabling Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to fulfil their potential, not only through appropriate solutions, but by actively supporting initiatives that nurture success and foster sustainable growth. The new Absa/SACCI Small Business Growth Index (SBGI) aims to measure the perceptions of small business owners and managers around business growth, prevailing small business conditions and challenges and help find solutions. Together, we’ll create a better environment for small business success. Stay tuned for the first findings to be announced in the coming weeks. The road to success starts at a grassroots level. We are proud to have supported 40 schools and over 500 participants at this weekend’s St Stithians College, South Africa 2025 Basketball U16 Tournament. The talent, determination and sportsmanship displayed inspired us all. Congratulations to the coaches and the future champions who gave it their all. We remain committed to supporting young athletes and making an impact that goes beyond the court – because their story matters, too. #AbsaxStStithians #StStithiansBasketball #YourStoryMatters #OneAndAllBasketball

It starts with our belief in the power of growth. Growth that is achieved by empowering individuals to start today, to succeed tomorrow. For an aspiring entrepreneur, growth is access to mentorship and funding. For a student, it’s gaining the skills to unlock future success. For a small business owner, growth comes from finding the right support to expand sustainably. At Absa, we’re all about driving financial inclusion through entrepreneurship, creating pathways to sustainable success for young African entrepreneurs. We’ve invested R1.53 billion over the past five years through education, entrepreneurship and employability initiatives, impacting 1.7 million people. We won’t stop there. Through our partnerships and initiatives, we will continue to empower young people and women across Africa to take bold steps forward, so they can proudly say #IGrewIt.
