The Helsinki Stock Exchange oscillated on Friday. The Helsinki stock market was down by over three percent early Friday afternoon, but later rose due to better-than-expected US unemployment figures. Share prices fell again however and the trading closed with 1.1 percent in the negative territory.

Shares in Helsinki have dropped dramatically this week in line with other European and world stock exchanges.
European Economic and Monetary Affairs Commissioner Olli Rehn has called the market response "incomprehensible" in the light of the situation at hand, since there have been no major changes in Spain or Italy.
The Helsinki Stock Exchange is particularly sensitive to cyclical companies whose results generally follow market trends and conditions.
