Despite being drafted by San Antonio in 2010, Clark spent the first nine seasons of her career in Seattle, a span that included a pair of WNBA titles. She then played for the Mystics in 2022 before joining the Aces over the last two seasons, including another championship-winning campaign in 2023. After serving exclusively as a starter for most of her tenure with the Storm and with Washington, she started in just 19 of her 79 regular-season appearances with Las Vegas, and she averaged 6.3 points and 3.5 rebounds in 23.4 minutes per game. Although the Storm have lost several key players ahead of the 2025 season, they've retained Nneka Ogwumike, Ezi Magbegor and Gabby Williams, so Clark could have to settle for a bench role as long as the team is relatively healthy. However, she still showcased some fantasy value as a streaming option during her time with the Aces, so she could still have a fantasy-relevant role, even if she's unable to earn a starting job.

Holly Winterburn

Winterburn played collegiately at Oregon but has spent the past few years overseas after graduating in 2020. She's played in the KBSL in Turkey this winter and has averaged 16.3 points, 4.1 assists and 3.4 rebounds in 35.3 minutes per game over 14 appearances with Besiktas. She'll compete for a roster spot with the Dream during training camp, but it seems unlikely that she'll be able to carve out a fantasy-relevant role, even if she's included on the team's final roster.

Mai Yamamoto

Yamamoto hasn't yet made her WNBA debut, but she'll spend time with the Wings ahead of the 2025 campaign. Over 14 appearances in Japan this winter, she's averaged 11.7 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 27.9 minutes per game. She seems like a long shot to earn a spot on the Wings' final roster for the 2025 regular season, especially since the team has the No. 1 pick in this year's draft.

Elissa Cunane

Cunane made three regular-season appearances off the bench for the Lynx in 2022 but hasn't played in a WNBA game since then. After spending time with the team during training camp last year, she was unable to land a spot on the regular-season roster with the Mystics. Even if she remains with the team for the start of the regular season, it seems unlikely she'll have a substantial role for Golden State in 2025.

Laeticia Amihere

Amihere was let go by Atlanta on Saturday, but she'll link up with the league's newest organization and should have a chance to compete for a reserve role during training camp. The 23-year-old played exclusively off the bench for the Dream over the last two seasons, averaging 2.0 points and 1.4 rebounds in 6.1 minutes per game over 37 regular-season appearances.

Cheyenne Parker-Tyus

Parker-Tyus served mainly as a starter for the Dream over the past four seasons, averaging 11.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 23.4 minutes per game. She missed the second half of the 2024 campaign due to an ankle injury but has been back in action overseas this winter. While she's joining the Aces on a training camp contract, she'll likely have a good chance to make the team's final roster since the team is dealing with cap concerns during the offseason and will have a new look in 2025 after losing Kelsey Plum and Tiffany Hayes.

Tiffany Hayes

Tiffany Hayes

Hayes will head to the league's newest expansion organization to provide a veteran presence in the backcourt. The 35-year-old guard was named the 2024 KIA WNBA Sixth Player of the Year after averaging 9.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 21.5 minutes across 33 regular-season appearances for the Aces. In Golden State, Hayes will likely slot into a starting role.

Yvonne Anderson

Anderson got her first taste of WNBA action in 2022 with Connecticut, averaging 3.2 points and 1.1 assists in 9.2 minutes per game over 11 appearances. She played for Serbia during the 2024 Paris Olympics. She will have a chance to compete for a role with the Sun ahead of the 2025 regular season after a lengthy overseas tenure in which she played for clubs in Sweden, Greece, Italy, Turkey and France.

Marina Mabrey

Mabrey was dealt from the Sky to the Sun in the middle of the 2024 season as Connecticut made a run at the WNBA Championship. However, a combination of trades and free agency losses has left Mabrey as the lone returning Sun player to average double-digit points in 2024. With Connecticut seemingly headed toward a rebuild, Mabrey has informed the team of her wishes to play elsewhere in 2025. Mabrey suffered a right calf strain on Jan. 16 while playing in the Unrivaled women's basketball league, but the injury isn't expected to linger into the WNBA season.

Shaneice Swain

As a 19-year-old guard playing overseas, Swain was drafted by the Sparks with the No. 14 overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft, but as expected, she didn't join the team right away. She's put up stellar numbers in Australia since then and will look to start her WNBA career in 2025. It's unclear if Cameron Brink (knee) will be ready for the start of the campaign, but the Sparks made a big splash in free agency by adding Kelsey Plum.

Kyara Linskens

2/5/2025 9:23:00 PM

Linskens has been playing in the PBL in Russia this season, and she's averaged 13.3 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 20.8 minutes per game over 20 appearances. The Valkyries selected Temi Fagbenle and Iliana Rupert (rest) in the WNBA Expansion Draft, but Linskens should have a chance to compete for a role at center ahead of the 2025 regular season.

Chloe Bibby

2/5/2025 9:19:00 PM

The Valkyries also signed Janelle Salaun and Kyara Linskens to contracts Wednesday. Bibby, who was a former standout at Maryland, has thrived while playing overseas with Girona -- In 19 appearances, Bibby averaged 18.8 points and hit 47.1 percent from beyond the arc.
