The 56 ethnic groups make China's folk customs extremely colourful. The ancient Chinese had created innumerable world wonders such as The Great Wall, the Leshan Gaint Budha and the Forbidden City. My trip to China was special because I got to visit the famous Great Wall of China. China being the East Asia's largest country has many cities to visit so you need to figure which ones to include in your itinerary since its almost impossible to include all. I have been to only two places in China: Chengdu and Beijing. The joy of being in these two places is that you get to visit the historical places and can do street shopping to the fullest. If you want to enjoy your trip to China then a tour guide will be helpful.
It was an amazing experience to see the Great Wall Of China and to set your feet on it as you have only heard and learned about in Books and Television only. But the feeling you get when you see thousands of people from all around the world and even you are part of it. It is as beautiful as we all have seen in pictures.
The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. It is located in the center of Beijing, China. Built in 1406 to 1420, the complex consists of 980 buildings and covers 7,800,000 sq ft. Its worth seeing the Forbidden City.
The Leshan Giant Buddha is a statue of Maitreya in sitting position. It is located to the east of Leshan City, Sichuan Province just 2 hours drive from Chengdu city. It is the biggest carved stone Buddha in the world.
The Panda Research Center is just 2 hour drive from Chengdu city. It has a very big park and nice to have fresh air. You get to see Pandas are lazy lying on the ground, eating bamboo, extremely adorable. Earlier it was allowed to get close to the Pandas but now it has been prohibited .
