Toronto Met's 10 Zones

Members of the Social Ventures Zone work together

What's a zone?

Zone Learning at TMU is home to 10 zones on our downtown campus, as well as several off-campus zones. Each Zone has a distinct industry focus, designed for brainstorming, igniting projects and nurturing startups from the ground up.

In a Zone, you’re not alone on your journey - you are part of a thriving community. We provide one-on-one mentorship from industry experts, grant you access to cutting edge workspaces, and state of the art technologies. It's a place where your ideas can come to life, or where you can leverage your skills to collaborate with a dynamic team.

Zones are more than just a space. They’re a launchpad for your personal and professional growth. Through Zones, you can expand your network, gain valuable experiences, bolster your resume and even tap into funding opportunities that can turn your dreams into reality.

Are you looking for advice on a startup idea? Not sure if a Zone is right for you? Connect with our Startup Advisors for one-on-one guidance on how to get started.
