The Fondation Hergé
The Fondation Hergé, a Public Utility Foundation, was created on 31st March 2022.
Its main aim is to ensure the sustainability and protection of Hergé's work and to ensure its national and international reputation and influence.
In this context, the Foundation will pay particular attention to respect the wishes expressed by the author and his successors. In particular, it will ensure the supervision and financing of all activities relating to Hergé's work by relying on existing companies with experience in this field.
The Foundation will continue to support and contribute to the financing of the structures set up for the purpose of the physical protection of the work and its promotion through national and international exhibitions and will support the Musée Hergé established in Louvain-la-Neuve, on May 22nd, 2009.
