Mirabel misses cut by mere one stroke at ANWA meet

PETALING JAYA: World No. 2 Mirabel Ting staged a superb comeback with a solid four-under 68 but agonisingly missed the cut by a single shot at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur (ANWA) on Thursday.

The 19-year-old Malaysian rediscovered her rhythm in the second round but the damage was done in her opening round, where a disappointing 76 left her just outside the 36-hole cut set at one-under 143.
