PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General of Police (IGP) Zulfiqar Hameed on Sunday said that some suspects had been held and progress was made in attacks on Darul Uloom Haqqania in Akora Khattak and Bannu Cantonment in recent weeks.
Talking to reporters, he said that important evidence had been found in both cases and many people had been detained in connection with the attacks. He added that the details would be shared later. On February 28, a suicide blast martyred Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sami chief Maulana Hamidul Haq along with five other people at Darul Uloom Haqqania in Akora Khattak.
