intervention and to always act in the enhancement of the best interest of
communities for the realization of improved standard of living.
Contribute to improving the living standard of the
communities of The Republic of South Sudan through
community mobilization, capacity building, advocacy and strengthening
of livelihoods.
A community living quality and sustainable life.
To contribute to the education of young people, through a
value-based system, to help build a better world where people are
self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.

Towards a New Dawn
A sustainable strategy to achieve the maximum, a need-based
and right-based approach is initiated, ascertains the problem
with full community involvement, and mobilizes all indigenous
and local resources. The program goals are materialized with a
helping hand from members, donor agencies, and
philanthropists.
Strategy
Sustainable community development is a dynamic
process posing various needs at different phases of time. These
can be dealt with through continuous interventions based on
designed frameworks that incorporate the requirements project-
ed by the communities and with the help of the communities by
strategizing for public-private partnerships.
Philosophy
A participatory, self-help, self-sustainable approach through
community involvement and the formation of volunteer groups in
needy areas of the organization’s operations.
Approach
Our target groups include the needy men, women, and
children in the communities of South Sudan who are still living in
miserable conditions and deprived of the very basic necessities
of life. Besides, Excellence Foundation for South Sudan will also
focus on the urban populace.

Key achievements (Sept 2021 - Dec 2022)
11 Schools reached in Juba and Yei through Prefectural Board
Mentorship and the Juba Schools Mini Competition.
16 teachers mentored through the Juba Schools Mini Competition and
the Complete Teacher Platform.
666 pupils and students reached through the Prefectural Board
Mentorship and the Juba Schools Mini Competition.
385 attendees of our virtual training sessions (also called weekend
masterclasses).
Piloted the South Sudan National Spelling Bee.
Collaborated on the first Wikimania in South Sudan.
Our specfic objectives
To inspire and mobilize resources for community strengthening.
To build socio-economic empowerment through community-driven
development.
To improve community livelihoods, education, food security,
nutrition, and income.
To increase people's capacity and help eradicate poverty
To adopt a participatory approach, respect traditional knowledge,
and empower vulnerable people.
