1. Bhāskara I
Bhāskara was a 7th-century Indian
mathematician and astronomer who was
the first to write numbers in the Hindu–
Arabic decimal system with a circle for
the zero, and who gave a unique and
remarkable rational approximation of the
sine function in his commentary on
Aryabhata's work.
Bhāskara I was an author of two
treatises and commentaries to the work
of Aryabhata

2. ARYABHATA
Aryabhata, also known as the father of
Indian Mathematics, was a renowned
astronomer and mathematician of the
ancient times of India. Aryabhata
contributed significant work in science
and mathematics and concluded theories
of earth rotation on its axis,
approximation of pie (π) place value
system of zero, trigonometry, and many
others.

3. SRINIVASA RAMANUJAN
Srinivasa Ramanujan was an Indian
mathematician. Though he had almost no
formal training in pure mathematics, he
made substantial contributions to
mathematical analysis, number theory,
infinite series, and continued fractions,
including solutions to mathematical
problems then considered unsolvable.

4. D.R. KAPREKAR
Dattatreya Ramchandra Kaprekar
was an Indian recreational mathematician
who described several classes of natural
numbers including the Kaprekar, harshad
and self numbers and discovered the
Kaprekar's constant, named after him.
He is famous for his ‘Theory of
estimation’ and is also known as
‘Ganitanand’.

5. BRAHMAGUPTA
Brahmagupta, mathematician of Ancient India, also
known as Bhillamalacarya, is recognized for his
contribution to Arithematics, Trigonometry (Sine Table
and Interpolation formula), and solutions to general
linear equation, Brahmagupta’s Theorem and
Brahmagupta’s Formula. Brahmagupta couldn’t finish
the utilization of 0 in calculations with respect to
division; however, he offered calculations, for
example, (1 + 0 = 1; 1 – 0 = 1; and 1 x 0 =0), for
utilizing the digit 0. The reason why he is known as
the best mathematician in the world is the discovery
of negative numbers and their calculations. Further,
the establishment of √10 (3.162277) by Brahmagupta
gave new dimensions to trigonometry and geometry.
