Content Selection
• The subject matter or content is significant if
it is selected and organized for the
development of learning activities, skills,
processes, and attitude.
• Development of three learning domains:

1. Cognitive,
2. Affective and
3. Psychomotor skills, and
considers the cultural aspects of the learners

• Content must take account of the environment in
which the course will be used, the needs of the
learners, and principles of teaching and learning.

• To help organize materials

understanding of a course.
