Ppt Geometrycal Shaped

The document presents an overview of geometrical shapes, defining them as figures or areas closed by boundaries formed by curves, points, and lines. It categorizes shapes into 2D and 3D, providing examples and explanations for each type, including properties and formulas for specific shapes like circles, squares, triangles, spheres, cubes, and cones. Additionally, there is a section for audience questions and answers.

PRECENTATION OF

GEOMETRICAL SHAPED

KELOMPOK 1.A :

DEFINITION OF
GEOMETRICAL
SHAPED

Geometrical Shaped can be defined as figure or

area closed by a boundary which is created by
combaining the specific amount of curves, points, and
lines.
Geometrichal Shaped has some figures there is 2-
Dimensional shaped and 3-dimensional shaped.
2D shapes lie on only the x-axis and y-axis, but 3D
shapes lie on the X, Y, and Z axes.
LIST OF GEOMETRICHAL SHAPED
2D SHAPED : 3D SHAPED :

• Triangle • Sphere
• Circle • Cube
• Semi-Circle • Cuboid
• Square • Cone
• Rectangle • Cylinder
• Parallelogram
• Rhombus
• Trapezium
• Kite
• Polygons (Pentagon, Hexagon,
Nonagon, Decagon, etc.)

CIRCLE
In geometry, circle is a shape where all points on the circumference
are the same distance from the center. The circle formula is :
(x-h)^2 + (y-k)^2 = r^2
Parts of Circle
1. Annulus - The region bounded by two concentric circles. It’s
basically a ring shaped object.

2. Radius of Circle (r) – A line segment connecting the centre of a

circle to any point on the circle itself

3. Diameter of Circle (d) – A line segment having both the

endpoints on the circle. It is twice the length of radius i.e. d=2r.
SQUARE 6

A square is a shape with four equal sides and four right angels
(90°).
• Number of sides = 4
• Number of vertices = 4
• Area = side^2
• Perimeter = 4 (side)

Properties of a Square
• All four interior angles are equals to 90°
• All four sides of the square are congruent or equal to each
other
• The opposite sides of the square are parallel to each other
• The diagonals of the square bisect each other at 90°
• The two diagonals of the square are equal to each other
• The square has 4 vertices and 4 sides
• The diagonal of the square divide it into two similar isosceles
triangles
• The length of diagonals is greater than the sides of the square

TRIANGLE
A triangle is a type of polygon, which has three sides and
the two sides are joined end to end is called the vertex of the
triangle.

Angels of Triangle

Types
On the length of the sides : On the basic of measurement
of the angles :
1. Scale Triangle 1. Acute Angle Triagle
2. Isosceless Triangle 2. Right Angle Triangle
3. Equilateral Triangle 3. Obstuse Angle Triangle

EXAMPLES OF 3D
SPHERE
In geometrycal, Sphere figure is round in shaped. The
sphere is three dimensional solid, that has surface area and
volume. Just like a circle, each point of the sphere is at an
equal distance from the center.
Facts of Sphere
• A sphere is a symmetrical object
• All the surface points of the sphere are equisdintant from
center
• A sphere has an only a curved surface, no flat surface, no
edges and no vertices
Sphere Formulas
Diameter of Sphere D = 2r, where r is the radius
Surface area of sphere SA = 4πr2 Square units
Vulome of Sphere V = 4/3 πr3 Cubic Units
CUBE 9

A cube is a solid shape with six square faces. Each

square face has the same side length and thus all the
faces have the same size.
A cube has 12 edges and 8 vertices. Each vertex refers to
a corner where three edges of a cube meet.

Properties of a Cube Shape

• It is a three-dimensional, square-shaped figure
• It has 6 faces, 12 edges, and 8 vertices
• All faces are in the shape of a square
• All sides have the same length
• Each vertex meets three faces and three edges
• The edges run parallel to those parallel to it
• All angles of a cube are right angles
CONE 10

In geometry, Cone shape That narrows smoothly from a flat base

(usually circular base) to a point (which forms an axis to the centre of
base) called the apex or vertex.
The distance from the vertex of the cone to the base is the height of
the cone. The circular base has measured value of radius. And the
length of the cone from apex to any point on the circumference of the
base is the slant height. Based on these quantities, there are formulas
derived for surface area and volume of the cone.
Slant Height
Slant Height = l = √(r2+h2)
Volume of the Cone
Volume(V) = ⅓ πr2h cubic units
Surface Area of the Cone
The total surface area of the cone = πrl + πr2
