Brief Description
• AeroDel is an advanced drone delivery system designed to
transport food, packages, and essential items quickly and
efficiently.
• It uses smart drones with GPS navigation to deliver directly
to customers, reducing delays caused by traffic.
• The system operates through an easy-to-use mobile app,
allowing users to place orders and track deliveries in real
time.
• AeroDel also focuses on safety and precision, ensuring
packages are securely dropped at the right location. With
its innovative approach, AeroDel aims to transform the
future of delivery services.
Problem
• Deliveries are slow costly, and affected by traffic.
Remote areas and emergencies face delays.
Highlights
• Under developed market in india Eco friendly, secure
and smart, traffic free solution

• Implimenting AI in drone, real time tracking,
authorized delivery.
Main contributions
• Fast delivery, cost effective
Value proposition
• Camera authentication ensures secure and
accurate package deliveries.
• Reduces last-mile delivery costs compared to
traditional methods.
• Drones reduce carbon emissions, providing a more
sustainable delivery option.
• Using Drone we can save fuels and reduce air pollution.
Market Survey
Are there any current systems/products/methods/ideas/
services like yours?
• Yes, several companies and startups worldwide are
actively working on drone-based food and parcel delivery
systems.
Global Drone Delivery Services:
1. 1. Amazon Prime Air (USA, UK)
Service: E-commerce delivery via autonomous drones.
Method: Drones use AI and sensors for navigation and
obstacle avoidance.
Status: Limited trials in select areas
2. Zipline (Africa, USA, Japan)
Service: Medical supply delivery (blood, vaccines,
medicine).
Method: Fixed-wing drones with parachute-drop delivery.
Status: Operational in remote and rural areas.
If so, what are they, and how do they do it?
• No. Currently, there are no large-scale drone delivery
systems in India for regular parcel services.
• Most current efforts are small trials for medical deliveries
or limited areas, not yet available to regular consumers.
How is your current system/product/method/idea/service
different from existing ones?
• Most existing drone delivery efforts in India are still in trial
or limited pilot stages, focusing mainly on medical
supplies or small-scale logistics.
• They often lack scalability, real-time customer integration,
and urban-rural adaptability.
• In contrast, our idea is designed to be a fully functional,
scalable, and customer-focused drone delivery system that
stands out in several key ways.
What is your target segment in the market?
• Urban and semi-urban users who order food and parcels
online.
• Focus on rural and remote areas with limited delivery
services.
Who is most likely to buy/vouch for your system /product /
method/idea/service ?
• E-commerce companies, food delivery platforms, and
logistics firms are key supporters for improving delivery
efficiency.
• Governments, healthcare providers, and tech-savvy urban
consumers may back it for better connectivity and eco-
friendly deliveries

CURRENT STAGE & NEXT STAGE
Current Stage
What are your current results/observations?
• Drones are particularly useful for quick and urgent
products deliveries like a food, medicines, e-
commerce parcels.
• In India this technology has very big scope and great
future for fastest product delivery.
• India faces traffic problem most so drones is one of
the solution for faster deliveries in rural and remote
areas.
• The Indian government's Drone Policy 2021 is designed to
support the growth of drone services in different industries.
What have you achieved and how you have done it?
• Developed a system combining online product delivery with
camera-based authentication to enhance security and user
experience.
• By using facial recognition, the system helps avoid mistakes,
like delivering to the wrong person.
• The system allows tracking of both the delivery and
authentication process in real-time for better visibility with
the help of AI.
Are you moving towards solving your problem? How?
• The problem is that sometimes online deliveries go to the
wrong person, leading to fraud and mistakes. We figured out
that secure authentication at the time of delivery can solve
this issue.
• We designed a system using facial recognition to make sure
the right person gets the product. This stops wrong
deliveries and helps reduce fraud.
• By using AI, we can predict delivery issues like delays or
location confusion based on past data. This makes deliveries
smoother and reduces the chances of mistakes.
How far you are from solving your actual problem?
• AI is being added to improve accuracy and predict delivery
issues, making the system smarter.
• I’ve built a working model to show how facial recognition can
help verify deliveries.
Next Stage
Why your current stage is successful/not successful?
• Due to the increase in online shopping, there is a need for
faster and more efficient delivery methods, which drones
can provide.
• In urban areas, where traffic is a big problem, there is a
growing need for new and faster delivery solutions.
• AI in navigation and camera security is improving, making
drones safer and more efficient.
• In India, strict DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation)
rules and slow approvals make it difficult to set up drone
delivery systems on a large scale.
• Bad weather, like heavy rain or strong winds, can affect
drone operations and make them less reliable.
How are you planning to move forward?
• Work with agencies like DGCA in India and others worldwide
to get approvals and follow rules for drone operations.
• Set up drone launch and landing stations in key areas to
improve delivery efficiency.
• Improve AI for better navigation and camera security to
make drone deliveries faster, safer, and more reliable.
• Collaborate with e-commerce companies to integrate drone
delivery into their logistics systems.
What you need to develop?
• Design more efficient drones with better payload capacity,
battery life, and stability.
• secure camera-based verification system for identity checks.
• Develop an easy-to-use app or platform for customers to
track deliveries and interact with the system.
How are you going to accomplish it?
• Collaborate with AI and drone technology experts to develop
the algorithms and drone designs.
• Develop an easy-to-use mobile app for users to track their
deliveries, schedule, and interact with the system.
• Run small pilot projects to test the system, collect feedback,
and improve operations.
Proposed solution
Can contain detailed diagrams or explanations of
how you would execute your project
• Delivery Process Flow:
• Step 1: A user places an order through an e-commerce
platform or app.
• Step 2: The drone receives the package and follows an
optimized route using AI.
• Step 3: The drone delivers the package to the customer’s
location using GPS and camera authentication for secure
handover.
• Step 4: After delivery, the drone returns to a designated
charging station for the next flight.
How many objectives you need to achieve so that
you reach the final solution?
• Design drones with GPS, obstacle sensors, and
secure payload systems for delivery in both cities
and rural areas.
• Create an app, vendor portal, and control system to
manage orders, track drones, and ensure smooth
operations.
• Set up charging, loading, and maintenance hubs in
key areas to manage drones efficiently.
• Implement AI Navigation & Obstacle Avoidance Integrate
AI and machine learning to calculate optimal routes,
avoid obstacles, and adapt to weather changes.
• Get Regulatory Approvals (DGCA, Local Laws)Obtain
permissions for drone flying zones, heights, and flight
corridors as per Indian aviation laws.
• Conduct trial deliveries in chosen areas to assess
performance, safety and reliability.
• Partner with food and e-commerce companies to expand
delivery services in cities, towns, and rural areas.
Detailed Explanation of Proposed Solution
• A fleet of GPS-enabled drones will deliver food and
parcels directly to customers. These drones will have
cameras, sensors, and secure compartments for safe
and accurate deliveries.
• Drone hubs will be set up in key locations for charging,
loading, and maintenance. These hubs will help ensure
quick deliveries in busy areas.
• AI will find the fastest and safest routes by checking
traffic, airspace, and weather in real-time. This will
ensure timely deliveries and avoid obstacles or
restricted areas.
• A special app will let customers place and track orders in real
time. Vendors (restaurants, online sellers) can manage
orders through their dashboard for smooth coordination.
• All operations will follow DGCA drone rules, including
automatic emergency landing, geofencing, and no-fly zone
checks. This ensures safety and legal operations in cities and
towns.
