DATA SCIENCE

 Data science is a deep study of the massive amount of data, which


involves extracting meaningful insights from raw, structured, and
unstructured data that is processed using the scientific method,
different technologies, and algorithms.
 It is a multidisciplinary field that uses tools and techniques to
manipulate the data so that you can find something new and
meaningful.
Course Outcomes
TCS-361.CO1: Gain an introduction to the challenge of working with data science.
TCS-361.CO2: Understand how to integrate the insights from data analytics into
knowledge generation and decision-making.
TCS-361.CO3: Analyze how to acquire data, both structured and unstructured;
process it, store it, and convert it into a format suitable for analysis.
TCS-361.CO4: Understand the basics of statistical inference including
probability and probability distributions, modeling, and experimental design.
