PROBLEM STSTEMENT
01 02
Book Catalog: It helps the library keep track User Management: This manages all library
of all books, journals, and other materials. You members, like students or staff. It keeps track
can easily add, update, or search for books by of who borrowed which books and when.
title, author, or other details.
03
Book Borrowing & Returning: It lets users
borrow books and return them on time. The
system also tracks due dates and overdue books,
and may apply fines.
OBJECT OF PROJECT

If one is not very careful then there is a possibility of issuing more than one book to a user.
When a user requests for the a book, one has to physically check for the presence of a book
in the library
Answering management query is a time consuming process.
Daily keeping a manual record of changes taking place in the library such as book being
issued, book being returned etc. can become cumbersome if the Library size is bigger.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
1. User Management:Admins can add/update/delete users.Users can register, log in, and
manage profiles.
The conclusion of the project is that a functional Library Management System ( LMS)
will be successfully created, allowing the storage and retrieval of library information. It
will also help assign user roles to librarians and staff so that they can work according to
their roles and complete their allocated tasks efficiently. The system now enables
efficient searching for books and other resources, facilitating easy access to their data
when needed. The project will improve data secu rity measures, ensuring that sensitive
information is safeguarded from unauthorized access or breaches.
