Definition
The Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary defines ethos as
"the moral ideas and attitudes that belong to a particular group or
society.

In Greek, ethos means “custom” or “character” that refers to the


character of a person or group. As originally used by Aristotle, it
referred to a person's character or personality, especially with respect to
a balance between passion and caution.

Ethos refers to the character, credibility, and moral values of a group or


individual possesses.
