Verb to be

Affirmative • ‫جملة‬
sentence ‫مثبتة‬

Negative • ‫جملة‬
sentence ‫منفية‬

Question • ‫سؤال‬
If the sentence contains “Verb To Be”

• Affirmative sentence‫جملة مثبتة‬


He is my friend
• Negative sentence‫جملة منفية‬
He is not my friend
• Question ‫سؤال‬
Is he my friend?
If the sentence doesn’t contain “Verb to Be”

Verb to do

I do You do He does She does

It does We do You do They do


If the sentence doesn’t contain “Verb to Be”

•Affirmative sentence:
She loves to read books.
•Negative sentence:
She does not love to read books.
•Question:
Does she love to read books?

When using “Verb to do” we have to put the following verb in the base form.
.‫ يجب أن نضع الفعل التالي في الشكل األساسي‬،"verb to do" ‫عند استخدام‬
