Introduction

Nowadays choosing a career has become a hectic and problematic job, especially
within the new candidates or undergraduate students. So a career area prediction
system can be helpful in a way to ensure the students a proper counseling regarding
their career and can give a suggession of a career depending some important
parameter like students academic scores in various subjects, specializations,
programming and analytical capabilities, memory, personal details like relationship,
interests, sports, competitions, hackathons, workshops, certifications, books
interested and many more. To impliment the system I’ll use advance machine
learning techniques. 3

Motivation

As, choosing a career is one of the most important task one’s life, so
it’s also very important that the students are provided the knowledge
they need to choose a career that suits them and their talent. There are
many scope to work in this area such as, incresing assessment test,
include more quesnaries in the dataset, boost the accuracy of present
system, deploy the ML model on website etc. which motivated me to
do research in this area.

7
Objective

● The main goal is to help the students set professional goals and
develop strategies for ensuring a secure future.

● It’ll act as a guide to make critical decisions with greater clarity.

● It’s also helps the companies to evaluate candidates on different

parameters and draw a final conclusion to select an employee
or not.

9
Data preprocessing

One hot encoding : One hot encoding is a technique by which catagorical

values present in the data are converted into numerical or other ordinal

format so that they can be provided to ML algorithm.

10
Required tools

● Jupyter notebook

● Python

11
Conclusion

In this study, a career recommendation system has been proposed. In

order to recommend jobs to the candidates, the proposed system takes a
dataset which have many parameter or quesnaries that play a vital role
for giving a suitable job suggession. After building the model properly
we’ll able to predict a career area easily and correctly.
