NETWORK SPEED

 Definition: Network speed refers to how quickly data is transmitted


between devices on a network or over internet.
 Internet speed measures how quicky a file can either be uploaded
from a device t a network or be downloaded from a network to a
device.
Units of measuring network speed
Network speed is measured in bits per second. However, as network
improves, speed increases and we need to use different units.
Here are the conversion between bits, kilobit, megabit and gigabit

1000 bits =1 kilobit(kb)
1000 kilobits = 1 megabit(mb)
1000 megabits (Mb) =1 gigabit(Gb)
