• Salon de Pertierra named after
the spaniard Pertierra, was
established in March 1896 and
became the first movie-theater
house in the Philippines.

movie entitled Un Homme Au
Chapeau (Man with a Hat), Une
scene de Danse Japonaise
(Scene from the Japanese
Dance), Les Boxers (The Boxes),
and La Place de L’Opera (The
