People who are never satisfied with anything. In fact, Paul declares a destructive indictment upon man in his rebellion against God – Romans 1:21; because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. In our world today, . we see lack of contentment in how God has made us (male and female, unique in our make up, gifted in certain ways, etc.). Is it not a lack of gratitude for what he has given us when we find people not satisfied with what they have? betrayed by someone you love, we . are well or sick, abundance or lack, we have gotten what we want or not. How easy can that be? It can be tough with human ability but easier when the Holy Spirit is leading. A gospel artist sang a song “When troubles come my way, I will praise you” God’s word is telling you and I that . it is the will of God for us in Christ Jesus. That means whenever we choose not to give thanks, we are operating outside God’s will. Can anyone operate outside God’s will and prosper? Proverbs 28:13; He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy. turning to our Maker, . Sustainer, Redeemer, and Lord in true appreciation. The truth is, God is the only reason why you have not. lost everything. Sin quench the spirit. As we embrace prophecy, Paul admonished us to prove all things with the mirror of God’s word and hold tight only what is good. Do away with anything that is bad by not accepting the lies of the devil. Faithful is the God who called you, because He will do it. If we are His children, we must give thanks .to our Maker, Redeemer and Friend. Celebrate God for what you have and overlook what you do not have yet. It may mean that what you do not have is outside His will for your life.
