SUMMARY
SUMMARY,
CONCLUSIONS CONCLUSIONS,
RECCOMMENDATIONS
AND RECCOMMENDATIONS
TITLE END
As presented in the study, female students
SUMMARY
outnumbered male students significantly. As to
the respondent’s year level, first year students
CONCLUSIONS
comprised the largest group, accounting of all
RECCOMMENDATIONS respondents. Followed by third year students,
and then both second year and fourth year levels
which contained an equal number of students.
TITLE END
As gleaned from the study under Social Factors, most of the statements are
described unfavorable. As a result, this factor does not affect the career choice
decision of the respondents, which gained unfavorable description. Meanwhile,
Economic Factors, Environmental Factors, Personal Factors, and Academic Ability
are the factors affecting the career choice decision of the respondents, as they were
described favorable. Specifically, the statement “I consider the financial status of my
family.” from Economic Factors and the statement “I consider the quality of the
school where the course is offered.” under Environmental Factors are described
highly favorable as they gained highest mean among all the statements.
TITLE END
Data showed significant difference in Social Factors when respondents group
according to their sex, particularly the statement “My friend’s choice of school affects
my career choice.” implying that male students may place more emphasis on this area
than female students. Notable differences also occurred in Personal Factors,
particularly the statement “My choice of school affects my choice of course.”
indicating a more substantial influence on male students, and the statement “My
preferred course is my childhood dream.” indicating a more substantial influence on
female students. However, there are no significant differences in Economic Factors,
Environmental Factors, and Academic Ability Factors.
TITLE END
Another is the significant difference of the factors affecting the career choice
decision of respondents when group according to their year level, it can be observed
that Economic Factors particularly the statements “I consider my future employment
when choosing my track.”and “I consider my preferred track, for I could already earn
an income while studying.” implying that fourth year students may place more
emphasis on these for having the most excellent mean. However, Social Factors,
Environmental Factors, Personal Factors, and Academic Ability Factors are very
similar across year levels, with no statistically significant changes.
TITLE END
1. The study revealed that most of the BEEd respondents were
CONCLUSIONS followed by third year students, and then both second year
and fourth year students.
TITLE END
3. When grouped according to sex, there is significant difference on Social Factors
particularly in their friends’ choice of school where male students place more emphasis
on this area than female students. Moreover, there are significant difference on Personal
Factors specifically in their choice of school where male students indicate more
substantial influence than female students, and the alignment of childhood dream where
female students indicate more substantial influence than male students.
4. When group according to year level, there are significant difference on Economic
Factors particularly in the effects of future employment and earning income while
studying where fourth year students place more emphasis on these areas than first year to
third year students.
TITLE END
1. The college must investigate the factors contributing to gender disparity in
BEEd program and explore strategies to encourage more male students.
2. The hesitant BEEd students must seek guidance from the career councilors
SUMMARY
to assist them in making the right career choice.
3. The BEEd students must follow their passion and pursue a career that
CONCLUSIONS aligns with their childhood dream as it will bring them fulfillment and
happiness in the long run, but it is important to consider current labor
RECCOMMENDATIONS market trends and the demand for specific teaching positions.
4. The BEEd fourth year students must search industries with high demand
job and explore internship or part-time jobs in their chosen career field to
gain practical experience and to increase their possibility of future
employment.
