Welcome to Jupiter

• “I wanted to go Contact Us!
to Jupiter. That
was my plan Nasa:
+12023580000
from day one,
and David Lynch https://www.nasa.gov

gave me the
chance to do it.” 300 E St SW, Washington, DC

A totally safe endeavor!
: Our Agency:
• Astronomical Ticket:
Get a ticket to board the Juno, • We here at NASA, pride
get to Jupiter in just ourselves on the great
approximately 2 years time privilege and amazement
(realistically)! on planetary travel.
• Booking:
• It’s the greatest thing
Unfortunately, Jupiter has no
terrestrial land for us to get to since cell phones were
but fear not! We'll be in a nice, created!
stable orbit and it’ll be a great • So much to see and so
fly by mission!
much time to see it!
• Processing:
We accept: Debit, credit, and
cash! AS long you as you bring
a minimum of just $50 billion!
What's on Juno?
• Juno will be your patented, safe, and secure
space probe that you'll be taking!
• While not very spacious, Juno will be equipped
with big windows for you to peer out into the
vastness of space
• Fear not, there will be a toilet and enough food
to last you a decade, its 90% canned beans
• There will be a bed, kitchen, exercise room, and
bathroom for you to accommodate yourself in!
• To the left are the schematics (Solar panels not
to scale, or amount)
• You'll be travelling at a nice, safe, 65,000mph,
meaning it will take exactly: 10.19 months or
310.2 days! (hypothetically)
Detailed info on Juno
• Juno was launched in 2011, created to study
Jupiter
• Arrived in 2016 and has since been orbiting
• The objectives of the probe were to find
more about the composition, magnetic field,
gravity field, and the atmosphere of Jupiter
• Juno provided the most detailed map of
Jupiter's magnetic field. It revealed that the
magnetic field depends at different places
on the planet
• Discovered that Jupiter’s core is larger and
more diluted than what was estimated
before, challenged the theories on its
creation
• The JunoCam delivered various images of
Jupiter’s poles, cloud formations, and iconic
storms.
• Studied the auroras at Jupiter's poles
What has been
discovered:
• Revealed that Jupiter's core is not as dense or as
compact as previously thought. Very diluted and
larger, possible collision?
• Massive cyclones at Jupiter's poles, each the size of
Earth. At north pole, cluster of cyclones arranged in a
polygonal shape. At south pole, a cluster of five to six
cyclones
• Atmospheric winds extend much deeper into the
planet. Around 3,000 kilometers into the planet's
atmosphere.
• Discovered that magnetic field is far more complex.
Magnetic field shows areas of intense magnetism and
variations in field strength across the planet.
• Complex weather cycles
• Auroras, revealing that these auroras are powered by
intense magnetic and electrical processes.
• Detected water vapor in the atmosphere, particularly
around equator.
