Research and present on various diseases

that affect specific organs in the human
body, enhancing their understanding of
anatomy, physiology, and the impact of
diseases on health.
• Materials Needed:
• - Access to the internet for research
• - Presentation software (e.g., Google Slides,
PowerPoint)
• - Poster boards (optional for visual aids)
• - Markers and craft supplies (optional for
creative presentations)
 Instructions
Instructions:

1. *Group Formation (10 minutes)*

- Divide students into small groups of 3-4 members.
- Assign each group a specific organ system to research. Organ
systems include:
- Cardiovascular System
- Respiratory System
- Digestive System
- Nervous System
- Musculoskeletal System
- Endocrine System
- Urinary System
-Integumentary System
2. *Research Phase (1-2 class periods)*
- Each group will research the following aspects related to
their assigned organ system:
- *Key Organs:* Identify the main organs within the
system.
- *Common Diseases:* Research at least 2-3 diseases
associated with these organs.
- *Causes and Risk Factors:* Understand what causes
these diseases and who is most at risk.
- *Symptoms:* List common symptoms of each disease.
- *Treatment Options:* Explore how these diseases are
treated or managed.
- *Prevention:* Discuss ways to prevent these diseases.
3. *Presentation Preparation (1 class
period)*
- Create a presentation summarizing their
findings.
- Choose to use slides, posters, or a
combination of both.

role-play scenarios if they wish.
4. *Presentation Day (1-2 class
periods)*
- Present your findings to the
class. (5-10 minutes for each
presentation, followed by a Q&A
session).
