PERSON
Crimes against people are a category
of crime that consists of offenses that
usually involve causing or attempting
to cause bodily harm or a threat of
bodily harm. These actions are taken
without the consent of the individual
the crime is committed against, or the
victim.
The term “crimes against the person"
refers to a broad array of criminal
offenses which usually involve bodily
harm, the threat of bodily harm, or other
actions committed against the will of an
individual.
Examples of multiple kinds of
crimes against people.
Murder

Murder is the unlawful killing of another


human without justification or valid excuse
committed with the necessary intention as
defined by the law in a specific jurisdiction.
This state of mind may, depending upon the
jurisdiction, distinguish murder from other
forms of unlawful homicide, such as
manslaughter.
Rape

Rape is a type of sexual


assault involving sexual
intercourse or other forms of
sexual penetration carried out
against a person without their
consent.
Kidnapping

Kidnapping can mean taking a


person to another location against
their will or restricting a person's
movement to a confined space
against their will.
Burglary

A burglary is when someone


breaks into a building with the
intention of stealing, hurting
someone or committing
unlawful damage.
Stalking

Stalking can involve assault,


including making verbal threats
of harm, and it can also include
noncriminal acts that—when
viewed together in context .
What are the effects of crime on a person?

While the short-term effects of crime


can be severe, most people don't
suffer any long-term
harm. Occasionally, people do
develop long-term problems, such as
depression or anxiety-related
illnesses, and a few people have a
severe, long-lasting reaction after a
crime, known as post-traumatic stress

mother, or child, whether

What is the differences between
homicide,murder,parricide.

Homicide means simply one


person taking the life of another,
even unintentionally. Murder is the
intentional homicide of another
person. Parricide is the murdering
of a close family member; mother,
father, grandmother, etc.
Infanticide

infanticide is a general term


for the murder of a child aged
less than 1 year, and filicide is
used when the perpetrator is
the parent, but neonaticide is
used to refer to deliberate
killing of a child up to 24 h of
age by his or her parent.
Abortion

Abortion is when a
pregnancy is ended so
that it doesn't result in the
birth of a child.
Sometimes it is called
'termination of
pregnancy'. BPAS cares

Intentional Abortion. — Any


person who shall intentionally
cause an abortion shall suffer:

Physical injury refers to harm


or damage to a person's body.
It can be caused by accidents,
violence, or other harmful
actions. Physical injury can
range from minor cuts and
bruises to more serious injuries
If the victim does not require
medical attendance or is not
prevented from engaging in
habitual work, then the crime
is considered as slight physical
injuries and punishable
with imprisonment of arresto
menor (1 day to 30 days) OR a
fine not exceeding P40,000.
