2. During the initial startup screen, press Delete or F2 key. (Depending on the company that
created your version of BIOS, a menu may appear.)
3. When you choose to enter BIOS Set-up, the set-up utility page will appear.
4. Using the arrow keys on your keyboard, select the BOOT tab. All of the available system
devices will be displayed in order of their boot priority. You can reorder the devices here.
7. The computer will restart using the new settings, booting from your USB drive.
STEPS ON HARD DISK PARTITION DURING AND
AFTER INSTALLATION
1. Open Disk Management, then Select Create and Format Hard Disk Partitions.
2. Select the hard drive you want to partition from the list of available drives.
3. Right-click and select Shrink Volume from the resulting drop-down menu.
4. Right-click the unallocated space and select New Simple Volume from the resulting menu.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions, and select the size of the volume and the drive letter.
6. File System, select NTFS. Select Quick Format if you are short on time.
Step 1. Put the DVD of Windows 2008 ser ver in to the DVD Rom of the Machine. Make teh DVD
Rom to boot first. You will get the following screen about the loading files.
Step 2 : In the next screen you need to select the Language, Currency & Time format and also keyboard Type.
Step 3: Click on Install Now.
Step 4: In the Next you need to select the version that you want to install on the Server Machine.
Step 5 : Check on I Accept the license terms and then click on Next.
Step 6 : Click on the Custom (Advanced), if you want to install fresh copy of the windows 2008 server.
Step 7 : if you’re installing the server on a regular IDE hard disk, click to select the first disk, usually Disk 0, and
click Next.
Step 8 : It will start to begin the installation of the windows 2008 server. it will take min of 20
min depends on machine.
Step 9 : Once the first portion of the copying file is over, server will automatically restarts
After the restart, the server again starts to copying the files from dvd to hard drive.
Step 10: Once all the files are copied, it will ask you for changing the password (it will ask you even not yet logged in) .
