THE PERIODIC TABLE PROJECT

THE PROYECT
1. History of the Periodic Table:
A general review of the Periodic Table. Authors (at least 5); dates
The evolution of the periodic table
Description of the Periodic table

2. Brief Biography of the Scientist/s that discovered your Element.


Who was/were the scientist(s).
A brief history of his life_family, studies, interests
The place and date of birth
The university/research center where they study and work.

3. Brief history of your Element/ Why is it called like this


When was discovered
How was discovered_ experiments
Why was name it like this?/ Where does its name coming from
Where is located in the periodic table and why is in that position
THE PROYECT
4. What is it used for/ examples
Why is important your element and how it is used. AT LEAST 4 common uses
You can add pictures and/or video

5. Curiosities about your element. (At least 3)


Curiosities about the element that people don´t know about it or it may be
interesting

6. Bibliography
Write all the sources that have been used for the project.
Minimum 5 resources, they can be websites, news, books, magazines, etc
THE RULES
1. The report has to be in a PowerPoint presentation.
2. In the 1st slide must include:
 Name of the proyect with the name of your element
 Your “Full Name”
 Date
 Your class letter
3. The second slide must be the index
4. Before the last slide, must be the bibliography
5. The last slide is a “Thank you for reading/listening”
6. All the 6 points/subjects are requiered, therefore, they need to be in the presentartion.
7. You can add pictures or possible videos about your element.
8. Neatness/spelling and color/creativity of presentation.
9. Will be heavily penalized if you plagiarize or copy and paste from the resources.
