STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
and
MOTIVATION
PROBLEM STATEMENT:
• The smart helmet addresses the lack of a consolidated solution for safety, security, and environmental awareness. Current
options fail to offer real-time data on humidity, temperature, alcohol detection, theft prevention, air quality, and live
weather updates in a single wearable device. This integrated helmet aims to bridge these gaps, providing comprehensive
safety and environmental monitoring for users in various settings.
Department of EIE
MOTIVATION
• The motivation behind developing the multifunctional smart helmet stems from the critical need for enhanced safety, security,
and environmental awareness in various situations. Existing solutions lack a unified approach, leaving users vulnerable to
environmental risks, theft, and a lack of real-time data crucial for informed decision-making. By integrating features like
humidity and temperature monitoring, alcohol detection, anti-theft sensors, air quality checks, and live weather updates into a
single wearable device, this helmet aims to empower users with comprehensive protection and vital environmental
information, fostering safer and more informed experiences in diverse environments.
