INTRODUCTION
Student management system
is a web application where all
the process of the student in
the institution is managed . It
is done through the
automated computerized
method.

The student management


system is an automated
version of manual student
management system.
OBJECTIVE
 The main objectives of the project is to develop a highly
interactive web-based application to allow the administration of
any organization to keep and manage the student details.
 To replace the old and traditional file(paper work ) for storing
data.
 To increase data accuracy, security and to make it more
effective & convenient.
 This system reduces the cost required for this job.
PROBLEMS IN THE EXISTING
SYSTEM
 Save information correctly.
 Problem to manage huge data and process the
necessary report and document.
 Loss of data due to mismanagement.
 Retrieval of data takes lots of times.
 Students cannot see their reports.
 Consume a lot of manpower to maintain manual
system.
PROJECT CATEGORY
 It is a web-based Application.
 Unlike traditional applications, It is accessible anytime ,
anywhere, via a PC with an Internet connection.
 It need lower requirements on the end user system and
simplified architecture.
TOOLS AND PLATFORM
USED
 We have used HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React JS for
making this website.
 For saving the data of the students we have used
MongoDB database.
 The entire website executes on Node server.
SYSTEM ADVANTAGES
 User friendly interface.
 Fast access to database.
 Negligible error.
 More storage capacity.
 Search facility.
 Look and feel environment.
MODULES USED
Admin:
• The admin will create teacher and student ids.
• Admin will also add student details and teacher details.
• Admin can also make any announcement that will be visible to
everyone.
• The admin can only delete the student information.
• The admin can access the student data.
MODULES USED
Teachers:
• Teacher can take attendance
using this.
• Make announcement for the
students.
Students::
• Students can see their attendance.
• Students can also see the notice.
FUTURE SCOPE

• In the future student can also be able to upload or


download notes.

• We will see the entire system more interactive and also be


able to give statistics data.

• We can run the entire system in any operating system and


also, we have an android application of the entire system.
CONCLUSION
 This project especially minimizes human effort necessary.
 It is a web-based application anyone can use the system
anywhere at any time and it is very easy to get the necessary
information without the latency.
 Provides easy, accurate, unambiguous and faster data access.
 Helpful to perform paperless work and manage all data.
 It is useful to the students to get their report on attendance
and internal assessments.
