1 Let’s see how we can find the area of a triangle.
We can combine any two identical triangles to
make a parallelogram. Look at the following
examples.

1 Let’s see how we can find the area of a triangle.

Base of the parallelogram = Base of the triangle
Height of the parallelogram = Height of the triangle
Area of the parallelogram = Base × Height
