Wat Da Keyboard do?

What are the functions of keyboard buttons?


Letters (A-Z) numbers (1-9) and
spacebar
They let you enter letters numbers and make spaces
Function keys (f1-f12)
These let you do multiple things such as changing the brightness, volume, etc.
Escape (esc)
Interrupts or cancels operation and exits fullscreen (you can enter fullscreen by pressing f11)
Tab, capslock and shift
Tab sets a different starting position for the text, capslock locks shift on and shift turn letters uppercase
(lowercase with capslock on)
Home, end, delete page up page
down and fn (function)
Home sets the cursor to the start of the page/document end sets it to the end of the page/document
page up/page down go up/down a page and function allows functions on keys (will not be explained here)
Calculator keys
Look like a calculator and I’m pretty sure you need NumLock to use which is the top left key (next to =)
Arrow keys
Arrow keys that can be used in many ways such as using up/down to scroll up/down and left/right to set the cursor
To left/right
Ctrl option (win) and alt
Used to use shortcuts or bring up windows menu
ScrLk PrtSc Pause and Insert
ScrLk locks scroll PrtSc does a screenshot Pause pauses and insert changes typing mode to overwrite mode
These keys which I don’t feel like
naming here
- (minus)/_(underscore) +(plus)/=(equals) backspace (deletes text)
[(the square explanation mark)/{(the weird explanation mark ]/}(the ones before but reversed) enter
,(comma)/<(variance symbol) .(dot)/>(variance symbol but pointing to the right /(slash or forward slash/?(question mark
shift ;(semicolon)/:(semicolon) ‚(another comma)/”(quotation mark) \(backslash)/|(vertical bar)

There’s also `(single quote) and ~(tilde) under esc


There’s also these that idk what are
On a windows keyboard there are highlights for numlock caplock and scrolllock
