Introduction

 This project involves building a system that can predict crime rates in
different areas. The system would need to input data such as
population density, unemployment rate, and average income. It would
then use this data to generate predictions for crime rates in different
areas. This project would require knowledge of statistical modeling and
machine learning algorithms.
Literature survey

Problem Statement

 Urban areas face rising crime rates, challenging law enforcement to


effectively maintain public safety. Traditional crime analysis methods
are often reactive and rely on historical data, resulting in inefficient
resource allocation. This project aims to develop a Crime Prediction AI
system that leverages machine learning algorithms to analyze historical
crime data, socio-economic factors, and geographic variables. The goal
is to predict potential crime hotspots, enabling proactive intervention
and informed decision-making. By providing actionable insights, this
system seeks to enhance crime prevention strategies and promote
safer communities.
