• My Print Manager mengirimkan print job ke MFP manapun,


tergantung pilihan dari user
• Pada saat login, print jobs dapat di print langsung melalui daftar
MFP yang ada.
• Print job dapat di set untuk mengontrol print volume

Case Study

Optimizing Device Layout to Reduce Variable Costs


o Mid-size office, manufacturing industry
o Four color MFPs, eight B/W MFPs, and 30 color printers

Before:
In the customer’s office, there were large differences in the frequency that each machine was used. As
a result, the print network was very inefficient. The management had noticed high maintenance and
service costs, and also that the employees were not cost-conscious with regards to their print network.
In fact, nearly every department had exceeded its budget repeatedly in the past.
After:
After conducting a usage analysis, the device layout was rearranged: we replaced some old color
printers with a bizhub, for use as a central machine, and substituted a bizhub for a few of the
competitor-branded B/W MFPs. This reduced fixed costs for extraneous devices, limited variable costs,
and improved overall productivity. We also enhanced the cost-consciousness of the employees by
allocating expenses to individual departments based on need, as shown by an analysis of accounting
results. And, we improved and streamlined the management of stock and device consumables,
improving efficiency and lowering maintenance and service costs.

Solutions
• After introducing the Account Manager and Authentication Manager for a test period to compile the
operating status of individual devices, we rearranged the customer’s device layout based on usage and
cost analysis. Then, we replaced a few of the old color printers and competitor-branded B/W MFPs
with bizhubs. Fewer devices reduced total output and, together with the optimized device layout,
meant improved cost efficiency without losing productivity.
• Account Manager allowed the customer to allocate expenses to individual departments according to
accounting results. Its Price Setting feature assigned prices to various print settings (paper sizes,
color/B&W, etc.), giving the administrator an overview of output costs on a per-device basis. Using
Authentication Manager and Account Manager, we set usage restrictions and limited output per user
and group. These changes enhanced employee cost-consciousness, which led to a reduction in
unnecessary outputting and helped limit variable costs.
• Net Care Device Manager’s device status display helped streamline operation costs and supply
purchasing by alerting administrators when consumables (paper, toner, etc.) were running low on
devices.

Account Manager
• The accounting function can compile and graph data by user or group, by time period, by paper size,
and other categories for each device according to need. Output data can be shown in terms of cost as
well as quantity.
• The analysis function offers a wide array of data and statistics—such as color usage and paper savings
rates—that can be used for variable cost management.
• Administrators can set usage limits for users and groups. E-mail notifications can be sent to the
administrator or user when the upper limit is near or has been reached.
Authentication Manager
• Manages authentication data for users and multiple MFPs on a network and enables simple and
efficient setting of authentication data for each user.
• Function restrictions, such as prohibiting color output, can be assigned to each user.
Net Care Device Manager
• The device list display function offers central management of operating status and settings of
individual devices from the administrator’s PC.
• Displays device status detail such as option, paper, and consumable status.
