Conceptual Framework
Conceptual Framework
Framework
Conceptual framework is mostly
placed in the chapter where the literature
review was discuss and the theoretical
perspectives of the main variable or
constructs are rigorously reviewed. After
reviewing and writing of related literature,
the next thing you need to understand,
and construct is the conceptual
framework.
A conceptual framework is referred to:
• the combine ideas through critical evaluation,
compare, and contrast of the literature you have
read.
• your own constructed model that you want to
explain the relationship exist between the main
variables and your research study.
• a “map” that will lead you to target the objectives or
the intent of your study.
• It is based on the concepts which are the variables
In simple words, the conceptual
framework is the researcher’s understanding
of relationship of variables in your research
study. Once the conceptual framework has
been established, you can begin to decide on
how to go about writing in your research
study.
Purposes of Conceptual Framework
1. to identify and construct your own view on how
to investigate your study
2. to show the research problem you have defined
3. to give structure when theories are not
applicable
4. to select theory or conceptual model that can be
align with the research questions
5. to provide connection to variables and
hypothesis
