POLYNOMIAL FUNCTION
A polynomial function is a function of the form

P(x) = an x + an-1 x +…+ a1x + a0

an ≠ 0 and n is nonnegative integer.
an x is the leading term (term with the highest power of x)

an is the leading coefficient (coefficient of the term with highest degree)


a0 is the constant term (a number without variable)
n is the degree (greatest exponent)

• A polynomial function doesn't have variables

inside radicals, or in the denominator.
