PROBLEM STATEMENT

Electricity is one of the most important resources in this country,

the electricity must be conserved, but often people come outside
the room/hall forgetting to turn off the lights/fan, thus the
electricity was wasted.

The concept behind this project is to reduce power supply

wastage, when there is no consumer in the room, thus reducing
energy consumption.
OBJECTIVE

•Our Objective is to design an room automation to control power

supply with optical & RFID sensors, control devices and relay to
detect the presence of moving objects.
•Limiting power waste in schools, colleges, offices and
conference halls.
•Making a controller which can sense if any thing enters the room
and then lights up automatically.
ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES

•Low cost.
•Easy to use.
•Easy to Install.
•Helpful for reducing the Power consumption.
•No VOIP protocols used.
Disadvantages :
•Multiple objects may cause ambiguity.
•External Power supply will effect the efficiency.
•Multiple Appliances will start by using sensors at a time.
•Difficult to identify the working device.
APPLICATIONS

•It helps save electricity by switching off Electrical devices

automatically when no one’s in the room. So it can useful in
offices , homes and many other places.
•Some systems can collect data on energy usage, providing
insights for further improvements and energy-saving strategies.
•By integrated with smart systems, allowing better control over
lighting conditions.
•No Physical Remote Access need.
•If any object in the limits of Sensor, the device is working
normally, If not the device becomes idle.
