Introduction:
Enhancing Security and Efficiency with QR Code ID Cards. This
technology offers a modern approach to identification and access
control, improving security and efficiency.
Implementation:
1. Generation.
2. Distribution.
3. Scanning.
4. Authentication.

Generation:
This include the generation of the QR Code that includes the Student information such as ; Name , USN, Phone
number etc.,

Distribution:
Print QR Codes on ID Cards or badges for physical distribution to
Students and Staff and Alternatively, provide options for digital
distribution through mobile apps.
Scanning Process:
Equip staff with QR Code scanners . Ensure that scanners can read the
codes swiftly and accurately.
Authentication:
Develop backend systems to authenticate QR Codes.this involves
verifying the scanned QR code against a central database or cloud-based
repository that stores ID information.

Access Granting:
Based on authentication , grant access to designated areas or services
according to predefined permissions associated with the ID.
Integration:
Integrate QR code scanning with existing systems such as acces control
or attendance tracking for seamless operation.
Security Measures:
multilayered security features , including encryption and authentication
protocols , to prevent unauthorized duplication.

User training and Feedback:


Provided proper information and guidance to all the user about the
usage and benefits. And getting feedback on how to improvise the
system for easy working.

requiring minimal training for users.
• Cost-Effective: QR codes can be generated and printed cheaply,
reducing the overall cost of the ID cards.

existing digital systems, such as attendance tracking, access control,
and payment systems.

E-ID card : in this the Students will be provided with the


user ID and password to the app that provides the certain QR
codes and the individual student information that can be
used in replacement of the physical ID cards.
Dynamically generating QR code:
In this the QR codes in the E-ID cards will be updated or
changed after every scanning . this feature will enhance the
security and made it more efficient to use this QR codes for the
payment purposes also.

Biometric:
This will provides an additional layer of security beyond
traditional QR code ID cards, reducing the risk of theft.
Conclusion:
QR code ID cards provide a cost-effective, versatile, and secure solution
for various applications in a college setting. Their ease of use and
compatibility with existing digital systems make them an ideal choice
